The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation awards up to $30,000 to students who plan to pursue graduate study in fields of public service.
The Truman Scholarships is awarded to 60-65 applicants annually. Applicants must aspire to work in fields related to government, education, nonprofits or public interest. Candidates must commit to work in public service for three of the first seven years after completing their graduate degree.
Along with awarding scholarships, the foundation also provides services to student to assist students with career counseling, internship placement, graduate school admissions and professional development.
