Lynn Secondo

Fulbright, 2016, Greece

Lynn’s Fulbright project will characterize a newly designed portable sampler in order to investigate how the change in composition of diesel exhaust emissions from the use of nanoceria additives affects the response to exposure measured using in-vitro lung models. In addition to her study, she hopes to learn about food in Greece, the people of Thessaloniki, and what is important to them through community conversations. Lynn is currently pursuing a doctorate in Chemical Engineering at VCU. After completing her degree, Lynn would like to continue on to a career in academia, teaching sustainability of environmental and energy in chemical engineering.
